Thread: yahoo the check is in the mail!

So on April 21st 2008 I was mailed my first ever Google check for 118 Canadian dollars! Which is 116 us dollars!

I'm a little upset because some of that money was made when the US dollar was a lot higher then the Canadian dollar yet they still gave me the crappy exchange rate? Why does Google do this?

It always seems that companies have a policy of profiting when converting currencies. They should be required to state this more plainly.

To be fair what if the exchange rates went the other way? You'd in fact profit off of it

It's more than likely setup to be at the issuance of the check, or issuance of the profits.

obviously you are correct Grim seeing this is the way it happened! it just sucks when 8 months ago I would have gotten 150 Canadian dollars not 118
