CTR tips

Hi and good afternoon webtalk forums, I wanted to know if anyone here can share some tips on how to increase my ctr for my website. On average the cost per click is about 30cents - under. I am currently running a free web hosting site and I wonder if what type of site I run has anything to do with the ctr.

Kindly let me know

Obviously the type of site you have has to do with the CTR.

Website selling products will have better CTR on ads selling products, rather then websites teaching you something, with ads to products.

Depending on the traffic you get, you'll have a different CTR on different sites.

Try changing the ad type so that it might be more appealing to your audience.

try having a high keyword searches that user would click....

The link units work well on the top of the page above the menu.

Mine CTR is 3-4% daily, here's mine. maybe you can try it

a lot of people say that its good to blend the ad in, but when I do this I only get 1-2% ctr. where as when I "highlight" the ad with an ornament, i get 2-3%.

Highlighting the ads is great for drawing attention to the ad and getting some extra clicks.
