My guess is that you will not do that well with adsense as I suspect that your users are less inclined to click on the ads. I think it will be between xx to xxx per month. Another problem is that it is impossible to police what your users are posting and what they post may contradict adsense TOS.

You may get $100-200 per month selling links but this is very dangerous. You may find your SERPS penalized. My guess is that your site may do pretty well with CPM programs such as tribal fusion, burst media, and casale media. However, it is pretty hard to get into them.

So adsense will be a problem right

Personally, I did not put up Adsense codes on a free forum hosting site in the past because of this concern. I know that there were a few people running adult forums in there. But then again. the problem may be exagerated.

I have got e-mails from Google before when they were not satisfied with the contents of particular sites and told me that they would banned the sites from showing Adsense. However, my account was not banned. Link sales are definitely very dangerous, especially if they are not in the same niche. I would be very careful if your site is getting a lot of visitors.

SilverWebWorks, you won't earn $900 a month from placing ads on your site or by selling advertising spots. You could earn $900 a month if your site would be offering some kind of paid service, such as hosting, scripts, and more.

You can try selling advertisement spots on your site, but it will just earn you around $100 - $200 like Zxpro168 said in the previous post.
