Thread: Which adsense ad formats convert the most?

Which google adsense ad formats do you think have the highest click through rate?

I think so text ads are high paying thn image ads

yeah the text format are more effective, you can blend it on your content as one of your anchor text....

Depends from site to site. I prefer 729X90 , 336X280 or 200X200

728x90 image banner seems to work best for me.

I vote for text ads included in the content. For example, between blog posts...

I agree, I typically use the 200X200 embedded in content also and get decent CTR

for me the rectangular with text in the end of article / blog post works best for me, but it depends on niche, the non-webmasters site get clicks everywhere as long as they dont think these are ads, for webmasters site any format will not be good enough because webmasters just don't click on any adsense

Yeah, I probably should have added that there is alot more then picking a ad size to get good conversion with adsense. I think everyones website, we've proven is different. This helps but the relevance f the ads shown, coloring, positioning, filtering are all also highly important to get your numbers up :P

I think Text ads are best...because the visitors get more options to click from..

Based from my experience, I got more clicks from both text ads and link units.

For me its a blend of text ads and links units.

I find that I have the same amount of conversion with all formats, the placement is where the conversion comes into place.

text ads are way better then the image ads
