Thread: Very Early Adsense Success

I have been using adsense now for one day, after finally giving adbrite the boot. I am so happy. I have made more in one day on adsense than I did in a week on Adbrite. This is probably just beginners luck, but a lot of the earning came just from impressions so they must have better CPM than adbrite. I hope this success continues.

Thats great to hear. I tried AdBrite about a year or so ago and saw very little earnings.

And along with very little earning you also get bombarded with porn ads, well almost porn. All I ever had displayed on my sites were webcam chat ads and smutty site ads. Not what my readers want with their morning coffee lol :3079:

I was having trouble with AdBrite causing my pages to load very slowly and sometimes they wouldnt load past the AdBrite unit.

Yes that is another of my pet hates with Adbrite, the loading times of ads slows your site down considerably. I just wish I had made the switch much earlier.

When I first started using AdSense it took me about 10 months to reach the $100 payout, then it took about 4 months to reach it again and now I get a nice check every month.

Be sure to take advantage of the channels so you can track where your earnings are performing the best

I too tried AdBrite but i didnt get anything thats why iam using only adsense

I have tried Adbride for more than a year now and the same time with my adsense. they are getting better now even though it was very hard at the begining but keep fighting with it and stay focus.:3080:

I wouldn't say adsense is all that great, problem with adbrite was that many times it simply didn't show any ads at all.

yea adbrite earnigs take much time but adsense is better for niche sites with relevant placements.

Google adsense and Adbrite both are good if you have the traffic on your site.

Congrats, i think i am ready to take on adsense as i hear many good things and hope i will have "beginners luck" as well:slaugh:

Obviously, I'm not an adsense guy. I'm happy when I get 5 buck for the day. Usually, 2 or 3 max...for 40-50 sites!!!

I've tried adsense, bidvertiser and AdBrite... Now I'm back with Adsense... So in a year with AS I have made a total of $12....

Remember that my sites aren't MASSIVE and don't attract hundreds let alone thousands/millions!

But even on such small sites such as mine, Google Adsense is by far the best I have come across as of yet. Still can't believe they sent me a postcard with a PIN number in it from the US :P How much did that cost them... Oh yeah whoops, its Google :P

Adsense FTW... otn I am HAPPY with my $12 and I know it will go up...

EDIT: I just checked my Adsense again.. Within making this post someone clicked an ad and I got another 16c to the total!

I like adsense as well. Most of the internet gurus talk bad about adsense but for me it is steady income.
