I just found out about this in another forum and thought I would post it here in case someone might be able to take advantage of it. The offer is for new accounts only, of course.

I do not know the exact details but it is titled "Try Google AdWords with $250 in free advertising" and is on the official site.

If you do not have an AdWords account and have been thinking about starting one you should check it out quick - I reckon it expires on Jan 31.

It says something about a coupon code off your mailer. Anybody tried signing up yet and where did you get the coupon code?

I saw that too, I am assuming that they send you the code after you sign up as opposed to them posting it publicly on the page - but I am not sure.

I cant do it myself because I already have an AdWords account - Dont wait too long though because it will expire on Jan 31

I would imagine it is only sent to a select few by invitation.

Be sure you have on hand the coupon you recently received in the mail.

There seems to be some confusion as to whether or not you get the code after signing up or you have to already have it at the time of your sign up.

I have searched threads at another forum but havent found a conclusive answer yet.

I am sorry, but I am thinking that I was wrong to post this. I found out about in another forum and checked the page and it seemed to be good. But it looks like you have to have already received some sort of promotional in your physical mail before the credit can be received.

I think it is best that this thread be closed to avoid future confusion. My apologies to all who may have gotten their hopes up.
