Thread: Damn you google!

I have been wondering for a few days why a site of mine was not displaying Google Adsense anymore even though the code was still there. After some investigating I found that the site was banned from Google adsense. There has been no reason for this at all, no email, nothing. There has been no fake clicks or anything like that, infact the domain has only been registered for about a month. Although judging from the stats I have I am not sorry to have finally given up with adsense.

Check out the revenue for my adnsense account, bear in mind that the 7 clicks and 25,000 impressions paid only $1.65 - 25,000 impressions with adbrite would bring me 10 x that.

Yeah, I mean I hear a lot of people saying the same thing about adbrite, but I have nothing but good things to say about them. I earn much more through them than I ever did on Adsense, plus they don't make you walk through hoops or solve a rubics cube to be allowed to use their service. It was a waste of time for me, and far to strict.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience with adsense. I also don't have luck on my adsense account. :s

Are you sure of this?

Normally, adsense sends out a warning letter after they have banned a site. Perhaps you may receive one soon.

Can you test this out by inserting another person's adsense code?

I went through an episode with them.They blocked adsence to my site without warning.But on my other site it was fine.So i sent them an email.They claim that i violated there agreement which i follow everything by the book,so they apparently said that i had a link to a porn site and it's against there policy.I was so confused because that is forbidden in my forum to post any porn sites.I had to scan every single post and every thread looking for that link.Which i did find it and deleted every single post that i found with porn links.,I lost a weeks revenue.Hope this help ...

Jeez, with a good CTR you should have a couple hundred from that kinda traffic.

lol true but unfortunately my site is not setup for that type of content. We have an off topic section where i found those links..And occasionally it's happen when the guys get off topic and share there little excitement.lol..but googles is very strict about it and i had to comply and removed them.The only issue that i have i,s they don't warn you of any infractions..I had to do some digging to find out why.

does adbrite send checks any where in the world ? means i am far away in pakistan does it send me the check there ?

Generally, google closed Adsense account because of fake clicks.

I just got my first check from adsense.

Oh that's sad. so far my adsense last month is quite promising. I hope it will be better in the coming months.

This is not the first time this has happened nor, I'm sure, will it be the last.

Aaron Greenspan of Think Computer Corporation sued Google (and won) because they shut down his adsense account for no apparent reason either.

I was going to wait until I hit the magic $100 mark but I think I'm going to take down the Adsense from my account because I'm just not making any money with it.

I signed up for Technorati's Engage ad program. I just put the code on about a week ago so I don't have anything to really say about it yet.

I think i was having some issue now.My data is not update or not available.Since last day,still appear impression and click.But not more now........
