Thread: Account Disabled - Adsense Finally Got Me!

Today, I received the dreaded "account disabled" message from Google. This I have been expecting since I have received several warning messages previously. Unfortunately, I was unable to fix my account in time as I have hundreds of websites. The website that triggered this off today was an 8-page website made up of contents from a topic in Wikipedia. The only ad I had on it was a 728*90 box at the top.

The only reason I can think of is that it was deemed "made for advertisement" or in other words low quality i.e. "does not provide a good user experience"

Fortunately, adsense accounts only from a small percentage of my revenue now but still, I would like to have my account back. I am going to appeal and tell that I will only put adsense on few of my high quality sites only. But just to help others to avoid the situation, I just want to list out the sites for which I have received warnings

1. Very common turnkey sites bought from eBay
2. Restricted PLR websites
3. Affiliate website promoting a physical products store using content supplied by the store.
4. Custom made sites using Wikipedia articles (as above)

In the past, I have also received warnings for obscene language and content that were put up by members of my forum.

The common factor about these factors was that they all used virtually 100% duplicate content. Therefore, I would urge everybody to be very careful to keep the level of duplicate content down. But frankly, the term "does not provide a good user experience" can be applied to websites with unique content as well, and so you must keep an open mind on it.

In the meantime, I am going to draft my appeal letter carefully. I have successfully appealed against this before but then, I earned much more through adsense and also spent quite a bit of money on adwords as well.

I thought dup content sites sink too low in serp to get any G traffic.
How was the site getting traffic?

I am not really getting much traffic, most of these sites were already banned (de-indexed) in the SERPS by Google. That is why I have always suspected that may be some communication between the SERPS and the Adsense teams.

Were you clicked bombed on any sites?

This does not have anything to do with click fraud. I cannot really complain about it because I received a series of warning letters in a row. It is just that I had over 1000 sites at that time and there was no way I could do anything about it.

Get rid of them and park on sedo. Or you can use adsense alternative on these.

I was actually in the process of parking my de-indexed domains on Google Parking. Now I suppose I will have to use SEDO.

Here is a list of infractions I have received from Google over the past few years

2*obscene/adult language
1*inappropriate position of ads
5*use of widely available turnkey MFA sites
1*use of restricted PLR site
1* low quality affiliate product page with adsense
1*low quality site made from wikipedia content.

Your account must be in good shape before.
Else they simply ban after first or second warning.

Wow. Those are some really serious offenses you got there... Hope you can get it fixed.

Wow! how could you manage to have 1000 websites? Even Google such a multiple billions company I guess they do not own 1000 sites.

Another reason I am so glad I am not dependant on adsense.

I hear its pretty easy to signup with a new account anyway, the checks they make are not that stringant.

I got 20 clicks today for $0 on one site. Appears that Google automatically disallowed the clicks.

There are BSing a lot on clicks nowadays ... seem like the new cookie is doing its job.

I am thinking how to disable dart cookie for every user visiting my site ... also if it is really allowed?

I think it's fine that they disallowed the clicks as the traffic wasn't normal.

Google should be taking more responibility for detecting click fraud rather than disabling accounts. An average US account holder isn't going to try to rob them for 20 clicks.

Lol you go for it fella. Give them a bot up the backside for me. They are getting well trigger happy lately.

I guess adsense always check every content of your website. Hope you can recover your account.
