Increase your Adsense / traffic by 8X (well maybe...)

I've just installed Angsuman's Translator Plugin Pro for my Wordpress blog.

The translator will automagically translate all of your blog posts into Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese without you ever having to go to night school!

With this plugin you will be able to multiply all of your existing blog pages by 8. Searchbots will come to your site and be absolutely thrilled to bits to discover your new content and will index those pages accordingly.

What this means is you will have new non-english speaking visitors from around the world coming to see your site. If you have Adsense or whatever you should expect to see an increase in income. (or so I am led to believe....

)

As I am easily distracted by shiny things and offers of easy money I whipped out my card and paid the $30.

The plugin was easy to install and the support is great. I installed it two days ago and I have checked my logs and Google and Yahoo are crawling my new pages like all good bots should.

I haven't received any visitors yet but I know I will soon. Also, as I only speak Australian

and wouldn't have a clue if the translator has mangled my content (I'm pretty sure it will but whatever....) could anyone who speaks another dialect pop over to my kitchen design blog and click on a translation flag and post any humorous results here please.

Woohoo, muchos gracias Google! I have my first visitor from Spain today. After only 3 days Google has listed my site on the Spanish SERPS. My keyword ranked 24 from 450,000 pages. It looks weird seeing your blog in a different language.

Kitchenman nice share! Your blog is loading pretty slow for me aswell. I did some poking around your site in spanish. The translations are well, so so but you can get the jist of it. You ads on the spanish pages I visited are still showing in English, but I assume they will be fine after Google's had time to index.

On another front, what kitchenman has done is a nice little way of expanding your reach. We used to do this way back as a tactic for increase our indexed pages for DP coop.

If anyone is interest what the real numbers are - although it is niche dependent - there is one Internet Marketing site running a similar script and their revs are up about 15% from an english only site.

It won't load for me. I was thinking Rogers too, Zap! But I see you're not having the problem.

I had this problem before too, a few weeks ago, couldn't view a site but others could.

My page loads in a 1 to 2 seconds. WTF? I wonder why this is happening to you guys in Canada?

Cold weather tends to slow things down around here!

Its loading fine now, probably some sort of rerouting or something!

KM, you have it in your cache, so it naturally loads faster for you, clear your cache, close the browser, and try again, see how long it takes.

Don't know WM 'cause I only speak English. The plugin can use Google Translate, Babelfish or WorldLingo.

It looks like the translator was a good investment. I am now getting visitors from France, Brazil and Italy and it has been 4 days since I installed it.

All of the traffic has been from Google so far.

I also installed this plugin on 2 of my blogs as a test. After a week or so, I decided to go for the unlimited licence and install it on all my blogs. In most cases, the translation is from horrid to so-so. But, just after installing this on one of my blogs, the visits per day went up from 20-50 to about 250-350. I'm sure a lot of people are laughing at the poor translation on that blog now, but at least they're looking at it while they're laughing.

Oh, and the latest version of the translator does 14 languages!

BTW if there are poor people out there like me that can not afford this plugin or would like to convert their entire site to multi-lingual you may want to check this out Also read through the entire thread! Don't just grab the first link to the software as further in the thread there are other versions.

I just did two, to try out the plugin and the two that I tried were very poorly optimized for AdSense, so i wasn't expecting any money. I just wanted to see some kind of bump in traffic and I did.

I just installed it on the rest of my blogs last night, so it's too early to tell about traffic for those. And, I don't make any money from AdSense, anyway. I'm one of those guys who makes $0.01 per day on a good day.

Maybe with better ad placement (on my to-do list) and better indexing with this plugin, I might see that jump to $0.03 or $0.05 per day!
