Okay here come a couple more - Joel Comm is selling a new product that automates the creation of 100s of site and had some illustration I thought would be good to share -newbs pay attention:

I know Joel often loves to walk on the edge.. The link unit mimics as navigational tab, something google wont like and prolly warn the publisher..

Lame thing to do, IMO..

This thread is a perfect example of why I turned off contextual advertising in my AdWords account.

It's great for me as an AdSense publisher to get all this information.
But, as an AdWords advertiser, I know that zero clicks from websites like these are going to result in a sale for me.

Matt Cutts subscribes the joel comm newsletter! he thought it is a great idea! then he put a some strange query to search on "how many people follow the joel comm templates" ... thinking "oh hell, 15348950 people making money" then he made a special small script code and put on Gooogle machine, and ordered whose ever are using that templates send those sites on sandbox Dangeoun's !

Joel Comm is just another member of the boys circle jerk IMHO. I am not a fan of made for adsense templates. It is as bad as everyone using the same content. You'll have alot more success if you make your own sites and use real content and good ad placement and you'll get clicks.

But if google did do that, think of all the MFA sites that would disappear!
And all the people selling MFA sites and templates would be out of business.

I agree, build your own and not use templates and content given or sold by someone else.

Wow ... nice feedback folks! I personally do not endorse this new product by Joel, I think it is just a money grab by him and any ethical marketer would have put out a system that let people create adsense optimized sites using their own content.

Regarding the Tabs, yes it is pushing the limits and is IMHO in direct violation of the Adsense TOS - tricking the user to click. Joel has always pushed it to the limit, I remember on his forums a long time ago having a fake user post at the bottom of his thread with adsense in it.

Other than that I think the adsense implementation STARTEGY on those examples are good.
