It depends on your niche. Some topics have a higher click through rate than others. Another factor is the placement of the ads on your site. The higher up on the page, the more clicks you will received. Likewise, the more ad units on a page the more likely you are to get clicks.
Vectro Web Hosting - Web hosting with solid tech support.

That's awesome. I don't even get 1% click thru rate :P
that is really great i am always under the %1![]()
I average right around 1% or slightly under. Personally i know I could get the rates increased, as placement is key...
I however would rather have low click through rates than get banned, which so many with high click through rates get.
8% is great, care to share what your layout looks like?
Actually if all these clicks are from visitors who reached your website through Search Engines there is nothing to worry because in some of my posts i do get 10% CTR while others get 0.5%, you can track this through Google Analytics.
8% is nice the much I had is 2%
8% is perfect, but as other people already said, it could be suspicious to Google..
Are you using a "strange" technique or is it for real?
Yes, 8% is good CTR!
Usually the average CTR of 3% of sites, but also depends on the niche.
Goog ctr = 15-20%
8% = low ctr
I don't think there are any problems with 8%. I have sited with over 10% and never had any problems.
My CTR varies from 5% to 11%. I don't mind Google investigating, because all clicks are valid.
