Thread: AdSense question ~ content of page relating to what ads get shown

For 'fun' I created a new blogspot. It contains pictures of mine that people can use for myspace comments...OMG what a novel idea right!!

What I can't figure out, other than it being a blog, I don't have anything on the page blog related and yet all my adsense content is blog specific!

I don't want blog ads, I want myspace crap!!

Is there any way to fix that or am I confined.

I suppose what I should have done was just add a page to my existing wordpress blog??

Have you added the keyword 'myspace' in any strategic places (like in an H1 tag) so that the adsense bot can find it?

Can you add text on the image pages, alt tags or anywhere?

Yeah, I think I sufficiently added things of that nature, alt tags included.
even a drunken bot should be able to ascertain the main theme of the page....

of course blogger is undergoing maintenance right now otherwise I'd show you!

maybe it's just different if I am editing the page vs. viewing it. I distinctly remember seeing one time myspace stuff but then the other times it was blog central.

guess I'll have to take another look when I can.

It can also take time if it is new to propogate the keywords with adsense. Maybe that is the issue?

that's entirely posible as well.

I just wanted to make sure I was doing what I need to be doing :wink:

So you're thinking it was just a matter of the Adsense bots catching up or did you end up doing any additional changes?
