Try different positions and avoid to use the regular adsense layout.

There are many reasons for low click through i have done a lot of testing and found the most important thing is people hate ads so you should try to disguise them by blending them with the webpage. If your content is good maximise ads at the end of the content if you content or webpage is crap or crapy looking put your ads at the top people will leave throught them straight away.

I think you should share your url for more help.

You should try optimising your content to make the adsense relevant. Again, try different ad format and positions and monitor how it performs.

You say you have traffic, but is that 10 or 1000 a day? You can't expect much from 10 per day.

Try fine-tuning the ads. A minor change of the colour scheme can deliver results. Many people go with the rectangles but it depends on your layout and what works best.

I changed the theme with another and my CTR was increased with 200%. With similar content. You must test what is effective for you. It depends by your niche. You must test with text ads / image ads and different placements.

1st it depends on your target niche
2nd does your traffic come from SE or referring site?
3rd make sure you blend your ads to your site layout,so it won't look too obvious to your site visitors that they are advertisements.

Give them an incentive to click the ads. Perhaps force them to click the ads for access to a page or etc. This will make it more seamless in the ads integration department and won't be too intrusive in my opinion.

Check the following (bear in minds that users in general are becoming more ADS aware, thus not clicking that much on ads)

    - Change ad positioning
    - Change ad formats
    - Reduce number of ads
    - Check Adsense Heatmap
    - Redesign your site so ytou can blend better the ads.

try to trace where your visitors came from, it might be a robot.
or there's something wrong with the placement and size of your ads
