i JUST DONT GET IT, HOW DO YOU FIND HIGH PAYING ADS. 1 CLICK GAVE ME 0.75 EUROS SOMETIMES BACK. NOWADAYS I GET LIKE 0.05 PER CLICK, WHAT HAPPENED? HOW DO I KNOW WHICH ADS TO USE?

Whats happening is that not all your ads being displayed are the keywords you picked in your adsense campaign when you first created the ads. If google algo can't find an adwords client with the same exact key words you specified in your campaign, they supplement it with another phrase that may be worth a lot less when clicked.

For example, the Phrase "Vector Formats" pays an estimated $1.50 per click, but if an adwords buyer didn't pay for that phrase one month, than google will supplement that with ads adsense buyers payed for like "File formats today" which only pays $0.05 per click.

Also, keep in mind that google started tracking a users search patterns prior to visiting a website and calculates that now in the algorithm for adsense to be shown. So, basically, if a guy just did 2 google searches for "baseball bats" & then the 3rd search he found you for was "Potatos", theirs a 50% chance the ads that show on your page for him will be related to "baseball bats".

It may sound odd, but that's just the way the algorithm has been working lately in an attempt to target searchers top interests for better chances of clicks, even though they may pay a lot less.

Ok, when you log into adsense and start a new campaign. The last part of it before you get your code allows you to type in up to 5 key word phrases you want to target with the ad. Once you add the 5 phrases, then click the GET CODE / Create Ad button.

And no, page meta data is different, as that's on site code... Adsense key words are choosien inside your adsense account when you create new ads

Yes, You should always research your key phrases that relate to your content. You want the phrases & your content to be in the same target market, but the higher cpc phrase sequences. For example: "Harley Bike" would have a higher cpc than "bike Harley" due to the sequence the words are in.

Hey there roceans...did you know that when you post in all capital letters...some people might take it that you're "YELLING"? No need to post in capital letters!

Anyway back to this thread...I have been finding that the less adsense ad unit that I put on my sites the better the payouts!
For instance..instead of the 5 link units, I use the 4 link units! Seems that the "first" ads pay the best, I guess because they are in "premium space"!

briguy - my caps were on and i was just lazy to turn them off and also on the other side of my world it was like 12.00am and counting not to mention my stereotype, but then again 4 ad units, 5 ad units man, I'm lost again.

1. Find high paying keywords (use a software like micro niche finder)
2. Optimize your content to display highly relevant ads (keyword density, h1 and h2 tags, meta tags)
3. Get a lot of traffic (the more traffic you get, the higher paid ads get displayed on your site)

To give you some hope, the highest paid click that I've ever got was $43 on one of my stock sites.

i did a search today and it was like "i can't believe this", highest Estimated Avg. CPC was $29.69. i have never known that highest CPC can go beyond 1 point some digits USD.

and now $43 again?

what is the keyword? can you share?

A couple years ago you could get up to $70 per click in loan/insurance niches. It all depends on the number of advertisers competing for the advertisement space at the moment. It varies all the time.

Many of my adsense ads have been around 5 cents and that seem really low. The cost of these ads is based on a auction type setting where advertisers bid an amount they are willing to pay.

Adsense give you the option of using their 4 ads on a "link unit" or 5 ads on a "link unit"...I find the less ad unit the better paying..

Explore more movies sites, there you can get exactly high keywords or you can also find from Google Adwords. which are most competitive keywords.

how do you do that, should i just go to movie sites or what should i do when i am there.
