YPN if your in the US or know someone who is in the US and has an account.![]()

Yeah,YPN would be the best one besides Adsense.
Web Directory ----- Paid Directory
If you are in US and your site gets lot of US traffic then YPN..
(YPN was lately terminating account if the clicks come from outside of US, claiming those clicks to be 'Poor Quality Traffic')
Besides that alternative depends on the nature of your site..
If its pure adult nature (Well... not p0rn though) and against google's TOS then you should try adbright.. they are pretty easy for adult sites.
If your site gets lot of page views but very little CTR then you should try any CPM ads netwrok like casale media, or tribal.. I am using Casale for few of my sites those are not doing good in Adsense despite of enormous no of pageviews.. and I am making good money.

If you want adsense alternatives, I have this ebook for free that will help you out a lot.
Lists about 14 or so alternatives, the ins and outs of each one, etc.
Well worth the read.
Download Here
YPN is your alternative solution.. i mean reliable one.
there is adbrite.com... according to the updates google's policy it can be run together with adsense as well. i signed up, made 4 cents the past week, and that is from the click i made myself
a friend of mine uses www.valueclickmedia.com not making a pile, but then again, he has PR6 / huge traffic so i guess its an important factor.

oh and btw, whats YPN stand for?
YPN is accepting select sites only. They are still in beta and have not gone public as of yet. I applied, and was told that when they go public, they'd be happy to welcome my sites.

Yahoo sent me an email the other day again, same bogus 'beta' crap. How long can a program trully be in 'beta', give me a break.
I am using Chitika (but not similar as you want )
Bidvertiser sucks.
YPN not available in my country.

Whilst hunting around, I found another good alternative to adsense.
Don't know how good they are, as I just put it on one site right now.
Will add my other sites in the next few days and see what happens.
Webmasters, make money displaying Oxado contextual ads!
I signed up last night and got my first site approved this morning.
They have a variety of ad formats, colors, etc etc etc.

I've used YPN, Adgenta, and Chitika.. YPN basically sucked and I went back to Adsense. Chitika gave me some nice clicks of close to a dollar but they belong on certain types of site IMO as they serve a limited type of "ad". Adgenta was ok, but the clicks weren't all that great.
You can always supplement your Adsense with Pay Per Lead or Affiliate links.
AuctionAds --- I wrote about it recently -- AuctionAds - A Great New Advertising Program for Websites
Ive been doing very well with it on my forums, and it can be used with adsense on the same page.

YPN has continued it's descend into worthlessness as it now is paying out less per click that Adsense. :rolleyes-h:
I tried several programs, but the best working for me is here, which is not only adsense alternative but my personal experience is that it is better than adsense. I am getting $0.43 per click & $5-7 eCPM, they also offer $25 bonus, so don't waste time Click Here to signup and start earning like crazy. With best luck for all.

AuctionReporting.com is my creation - and even though you can create ads that are keyword-based, the system can make content-sensitive ads as well. We pay you (Publishers) every month using PayPal after you've made your first $5 in commisisons. The ads display relevant eBay items, and you'd get somewhere between 90-99% of the commissions for any sales. So, there's the other major difference - you don't get paid per click, but rather per action. Nearly every possible parameter is fully configurable, so you can display however many items in nearly whatever space. Some niches are very good targets for this kind of advertising.
For some more info, I wrote in the For Sale » Services section: Monetize your websites or blog - AuctionReporting ads.

i just received a private invitation to shopping ads (owned by text-link-ads), i'm hoping to test this one. hopefully this one can replace google adsense on all my sub pages.

Actually if you can get a relevant category for your site then widgetbucks is very good. I am however not going to post another affiliate link here. :scool:

And therein lies the big problem using widgie bucks.
Lots of my sites, nothing relevant to them.
Like take directories.

Put it another way.....hard to put those ads on a directory for instance as what exactly would the visitors actually be interested in?

Yeah it probably isn't the best thing for a directory. You could try using MerchSense and ss what kind of ads get displayed.
Besides Adsense, I'm using Adbrite at the moment...

I use openads lol. It allows me to be in control and sell adspace myself.

wow old thread but yea Valueclick would be the next option if you need something PPC wise.

I am actually glad to see this old tread come up. It gives me a chance to complain about good affiliate programs that go to pot. YPN is now paying next to nothing for a click and their click through rate is terrible. Widgetbucks made some changes and I am now getting next to nothing per click from them. I think I will just stick to the ones who know how to do it, Google Adsense.
I am using Adbrite and it is doing pretty good. I might give Widget Bucks a try too.
