Thread: Remove MFA sites to increase revenue

I would strongly recommend everybody to add the following sites to their competitive ads filter. This will increase their revenue as it did to me.

To add them goto Adsense control panel --->> Adsense Setup --->> Competitive Ads Filter --->>>> Copy and paste the following sites there.

Well these are MFA sites.... means "Made For Adsense" sites . They generally dont allow other ads to display up and they themselves pay very less (almost nil) ... like 0.01$ per click.... so its useless to have them. Like i have a site on jokes so the ad of "hot4sites.com" says "Top 4 Joke Sites" and users anxiously click them and we are paid very less.

By removing them. The nice high paying ad comes up and they dont... so our revenuse generally increases.

OK, but that does not make sense for every webmaster to block their ads because they don't get the same ads run on their sites as you do!

But it is a good idea as a concept, I have blocked ads I do not like too!

You don't click on your own ads to find out about these sites, do you?

Well these all webmasters must block these sites as they actually kill revenue for webmasters and visitors also who go to these sites actually get nothing except other google ads. Yes these ads can actually diaplay on any websites and if they dont display also it is a wise idea to block them and let good quality high paying ads come up. Their sole purpose is to earn from adsense.

No i dont click on these ads to find them out. But i have built this list from past few months slowly. I usually visit the sites whose ads are there on my sites and if they are MFA then block them.

I blocked these sites, but ads still continue to appear from them.......

yeah....it takes probably a day after updating them

Do you find subdomains more guilty of the MFA sites?

Why's that? I wouldn't say moreso, no.

Thanks for this lists. I combined the list that Zap edited and the longer list from singhaditya's site and decided to list only the duplicates since there are about 370 sites.

Edit: At most we can have 200 lines. I'll try comma separators and see if that works.

Edit 2: There is a maximum of 64 characters per line and commas & spaces give an error. Hopefully someone can come up with a solution.

Sorry....I just copied and pasted from my adsense account...I should have mentioned the dups! My fault...thanks Zap. Some may be irrelevant as well because I have some legit competition blocking, but 99% of the list is MFA sites....I hate MFA sites!!

These are the sites which try to generate adsense income through arbitrage. Like buying traffic at cheap 1 cent per click and driving the traffic to a high paying niche site which pays 1$ per click. So if they buy 100 clicks for 1$ and 3 - 4 of them click the adsense, they make 3-4$ so high ROI. the loosers are the publishers who display such ads.

I think google has to be more careful while approving sites during adwords.

YUP!! Google are their own worst enemy and are destryoying, IMHO, the only way they make money. Since Goog makes so much from these MFA ads and they make money from clicks off of the MFA sites, I highly doubt they will change their ways anytime soon.
