    Default Looking to buy advertising.

    My site is very local, so it would be useless to advertise on 99.9% of sites out here. I am just wondering if anyone knows of or has a blog / site from Michigan that they are selling ads on. Any ideas?

    Why not put an ad in the local papers? That might show a better result.

    Yes, Benjaminp is right.

    I highly recommend CraigsList and UsFreeAds.

    I think it's easiest to use adsense for geographical targeting.

    Yes i am also agree with Benjaminp on this that it would be beneficial for you for advertising purpose if you do advertisement of your site on local papers,local directories etc as google will recommend local search results to local users based on their queries.

    @benjaminp

    I agreed with you. In my opinion OP should also try classified ads websites and yellow pages advertising option to promote his business in local region. OP can also place an advertisement on local TV channel for more publicity. Additionally social networking sites also beneficial for him.
