    Default Cancelling Unwanted keywords

I am a total newbie who is afraid to start using adwords because of the horror stories i have heard about people getting themselves into thousands of dollars worth of debt through not knowing how to go about things.
In my search for knowledge i am unable to find one piece of info that i think i need.

Lets say i start an adwords campaign. I select the keywords that i want to use and try to find the ones witth an acceptable bid for good placement.

my question is that once i have determined which keywords are winners for me and which are not so good, how do i cancel the ones that are not so good so that i am no longer paying for these keywords. The same goes for any keywords that i suddenly find that i am paying too much for because i have heard that this can change ovr time ?

    Appreciate any help on this.

You just select pause on the keywords or campaign that you don't want.
You should also fix the maximum price you want to spend each day.

    Hi there,

You may also want to delete them once you're sure. This was suggested to me by Google because 'apparently' Google thinks that by deleting a poor performing keyword (rather than pausing it) you're more definate and therefore, the quality score will get bumped up.

    I agree with you.
If your site has low quality keywords which are not search by people. It is good to delete those keywords so you have exact keywords.
