Today I got a check from Clickbank

I have not been to clickbank in ages to check my account.
Last time I looked, had nothing.

Today, one BIG check!!!!

The wife told me, when she saw the check, whatever it is you are doing, do more of it!

Way back when clickbank started, I promoted clickbank and the products.
Did good for years, getting a check every 2 weeks regular as clockwork.
Then for some reason, I got away from clickbank.
In December, I started up slowly putting a clickbank product here and there on my sites.
Then last month, put up two sites that are pure clickbank focused.
Those are the sites that got me the check.

Now I am putting up clickbank products on all my sites.

Heck with auctionads, widgetbucks, adengage and the rest!

Yeah, auction ads went downhill fast.
According to their stats, I got tens of thousands of impressions, and thousands of clicks, but no money!
Weird as they were showing me at one point making upwards to $10 a day, then one day, nothing at all in my account.

Putting more clickbank products on about 15 sites.

Awwww good to know someone is making money from Clickbank ..
I seriously hate these folks .. an year ago I started promoting their products. First 3 months nothing. Then the sales came slowly. I promoted my site pretty good. I started making around 30 sales a month. But believe me, their product are sooooooo damn shitty, Out of 30 sales, 18 were refunded. I seriously got mad when they refunded a sale of $150 after 5 months of sale. I wrote them email asking for this sort of behavior, they said it does not happen regularly and it was something very unusual. I mean, have they gone crazy or something ...
I let that site roll on its own and I do get a low value check in a month or two
but I seriously hate promoting stuff which gets bounced so badly and I get to see 60% refund rates. I mean, what the hell 60% refund rate ....

I have been trying Adengage, shoppingAds and widgetbucks since last couple of months. Got over 4000 impressions on widgetbucks and 1 click... I am serious man, 1 freagin click. Not even a single click on Adengage...
I feel like trashed. DISGUSTING!!

Sorry about your experience with clickbank.
I checked my stats and only had one refund for the past 3 months.

Guess it is what you sell and to whom that would dictate a refund rate.

But clickbank is very stable, they are well known, and to me anyways, the products you call shitty probably are so why promote them?
I only take the top sellers.

Glad to hear Joe, Congratulations. I'm not much into affiliate marketing (which Clickbank basically is, right?) but after hearing your story when I get some free time, I'll start with clickbank,.

Simple really....sign up at clickbank it is free to do so.
Search the marketplace for products that are complementary to your site.
Grab the link code or banners if they have some, and put them on your site.

Minor hint.....as you can, change those clickbank urls to tinyurls at http://www.tinyurl.com

That's a pretty general question, what exactly would you like to know?

It would be like any other affiliate program, copy the codes, paste them on your site.

It is free to sign up at clickbank to be a promoter.
Go to promote products, marketplace.
Lot of categories to choose from.

What I do when I write a review or article, etc.
Is search the marketplace for products relating to what I have wrote.
EG: If I write an article on scrapbooking, I search for scrapbook and then check out the results to find the one product that best fits the article.
