Thread: Anyone already start earning with Pay Per Play ?

I actually sign up for PPP during last dec... up to now still not hearing any audio ads play from PPP

Wonder any of the forumers here have PPP with their blog/website etc and already still earning some money from it ?

Guess have to stick to Adsense for the time being

Not me, never heard of it though.

I have it on some of my sites and off and on, they are playing.

Got to check my account to see just how rich I am getting...lol

As long as i know they are not talking about that i just forgot the name of the site as i have joined them as an affilliate today.

I don't know where some of you get the idea this is dead, or going to be dead.

I have totally missed out on this. I stumbled upon it last night in my adsense account. Going to give it a try on some of my sites but it counts as an add unit from what I understand correct? So you could only show 2 regular adsense ads and then one of those on rotation?

Payperplay is not google adsense.
Nothing to do with google.
Nothing shows on your website at all.
No ads, no ad boxes, nothing.
It just plays a 5 second ad to visitors.

Why do I think it will be dead?
1)Because internet marketers like tracking. They rely on it for every aspect of their site. People with adwords campaigns for example will track everything. The Ad the user clicked, the keyword they clicked, where they came from, which link they clicked. EVERYTHING is required to profit.
How do you track pay per play? You can't. And adding subdomains unique to the ad will decrease people's abilities to remember it.

2)Because a decent stumbleupon orgy can cause 20k+ hits. So with low bidders due to #1, and worthless stumble traffic triggering thousands of plays (for people often not even interested in that niche) you can see the issues starting to arise. Way less bang for the advertiser's buck.

3)Because no matter how much they say that the user will only hear it once and everything, audio ads are REALLY ANNOYING. I myself turn and run as soon as I hear one. and many users are the same.

4)Fraudsters have been getting better and better to match Google's detection rates. Do you think that PPP has enough venture capital and technology to stand up against a full out botnet forging referrers, traffic, and everything else on a fraudsters webpage? I don't.

I have nothing against "new" advertising methods and programs. Those are my bread and butter actually. But I know my crap, and know my users.
And did I ever say I didn't like it? To the contrary, I'm going to use it on a few choice sites, and do so REALLY fast and REALLY hard, so that I can make my cash while it's still alive.

O, my misunderstanding I thought you were talking about the pay per action on google, sorry

still no hit plays for play-per-play ads after 3mths

Even my referrals under me got no audio ads play since Feb, I guess may have to stop promoting this PPP in my website soon... very disappointing but have to move on....
