As far as I know, there is a big problem with Linkshare. It does not aggregate payments like Commission Junction which means that you deal with each merchant on an invidual basis each month. This means that instead of one cheque, you may get several chegues and there had been complaints of missed or delayed payments. I wonder if anybody else can confirm this?
With CJ, they will close your account if you do not make a sale within a 6 month period. However, it is easy to open a new account again. I only became successful with CJ on my 4th attempt.
If you want to promote physical products, I would strongly recommend that you look at Shareasale as well. The market for the direct shipment of US goods to Asia must be extremely limited. I would concentrate on promoting US goods for shipment to US customers instead.

Cj is so much easier to deal with.
And everything is in one account.
Tried linkshare way back when and they were a bear to deal with and keep track of my merchants and how much I made.
And if you are going to be an ebay affiliate, you do have to go with cj.
add shareasale to it also being an asian myself i have found good money from it.
I've been using both for over 6 months and I haven't made a sale yet on either. CJ has already sent me an email about it - so I'm looking for something new that will actually pay out something.
I'm using both but having more success with CJ.
The 6 months no-sales rule of CJ is annoying, especially for those who have put up sites only to find that CJ have inactivated their affiliate links. I would strongly recommend that you start off with Shareasale and achieve some success there before try CJ.
By the way, just to show how hard it is to make money in CJ. It only takes around $250 a month to earn 4 stars in CJ i.e. in the top 80-95% who made sales that month. This does not include affiliates who do not make any sales.
I`m with CJ, though in the past 6 months since I started I`ve not earned enough to get paid by them yet.
When I was thinking of joining an affiliate program they were the ones who received most recommendations, and I can hardly blame them for me not getting many sales. I started off with dozens of programs on my various sites, but have now cut them back to around 6/7.
thank you.... currently using CJ more as they had more good affiliate program

We're on CJ. So far it's been a useful resource for us. Publishers seem to really, really be eager to get into the blogging/social media arena, so our program has been pretty successful to-date.
cj is easier to use and more user frindly![]()
I used shareasale for two months earned $1300+ and left it...not much money, adsense is cool but. shareasale is a good affiliate.
I wonder why left after making $1300?
I am seeing complaints about Shareasale where webmasters complained that it is very difficult to make sustainable earnings. One complaint was that many merchants go offline and leave quickly.
My top month was $1750 but that was 2 years ago, not it is down to around $200 a month.
I made $3500 in CJ in 3 months
Bored now![]()
i would go with link share. i heard cj is undergoing a class action lawsuit right now for not paying out
why nobody mentions Regnow?
hmmm i've used Linkshare, and it is good![]()
I received a letter from a law office saying Commission Junction were defrauding publishers and that I was automatically placed in the class action lawsuit. I sent them over 100,000 hits and earned nothing.
I have bad luck anyway.

I'm not a fan of linkshare, I signed up for them when I started my forum, as well as CJ, and I've been very happy with cj..

I had a CJ account that was using my current e-mail address. now i can't sign in because the account was deactivated but i can't use that e-mail address again because it already has an account assigned to it. I tried e-mailing them with no response. I understand them deactivating the accounts but atleast let us have some way to reactivate it or use our same e-mail address.
I prefer CJ, it is very user-friendly.
