You know you need to define a website for both afflitate programs. do you have to place these links on your website that you defined in your settings to actually get a comminsion from sales

asking this becuase i was going to use adwords and enter my aff link into the destination URL in adwords settings

would this still convert to a commision for me even though these ads wouldnt be on my speficed site in cj and clickbank settings?

Yes, if anybody purchases using your links, you would get the commission, even though it is not on a particular website.
Why both also have email links.

But check carefully with google adwords, as there is noise that they may not allow affiliate links anymore.

well i know you can now with clickbank, but for Cj im not too sure as they ask you to select a site when generating the ad code
