Cool Looking For Good Affiliate Programs To Join

I am looking to join some good affiliate programs for the masses, not webmasters.
Does anyone know of any good ones?

I've heard Amazon is good. Know of any others?
What ones do you belong to and what do you like/dislike about them?

I'm aiming to create some websites aimed at normal folks, not dweebs like us.
I want to make some money at it but I want to hear the experiences of others first.
Almost any information would be helpful at this point, since I'm relatively new to this.

Amazon is crap, you have to sell so much just to make anything.

I've been with shareasale and cj for quite a while now. I haven't gotten serious about making money with them, though.
I've made a few bucks through shareasale (Dell and Crappy Tire).

I hadn't signed up with Amazon yet, but was thinking about it. Crap, huh?

If you like making 17 cents off a sale and the sales are few and far between, then yeah, pure and utter BS.

True, both amazon and ebay are okay just for filling up space on a site, but sales are few and they pay lousy.

    Try clickbank and paydotcom.

Clickbank has quite a few for the masses in the family categories, etc.

You can also try these out for clickbank products, I am starting to try them out myself.

Was going to use my affiliate url, but what the heck.

I signed up with this company: A To Z
Consulting Online. It looks like they have a good program but I am still waiting for my paycheck for my last assignment.

Most of my sites affiliate partners are financial, credit reports, debt help, credit cards. I don't have a wide range of product sites like cj or those type. I've tried cj and those types and never had much luck

I've joined with a few affiliates through both commission junction and digitalriver. vBulletin's affiliate program is through cj so that's why I signed up with them to begin with. The payout is pretty good, but of course it varies with each individual company.

I joined the affiliate program for The Logo Creator (TLC) through Digital River, and ended up picking a couple of other up through them as well, such as Net Nanny.

Clickbank is pretty darn good for me.
There are quite a few products on there for the masses, plus of course the stuff for niche people like webmasters, designers, etc.

Yah, the imgads work pretty good!
Have them on a few of my sites and they pull in a customer or so every few days.

For traffic I use two little unobtrusive methods that work for me.

Amazon is alright, the only problem with it is that so many people are already using Amazon on the Web. A good network that has alot of merchant programs and also offers datafeeds is ShareASale.

It is often surprising how much in-house programs run by merchants can pay e.g. with allposters.com and mp3search. ru I have had months that earned a few hundreds. The sites I used were all custom built using a database supplied by the merchant. The problem is that most pages are either re-ranked or dropped by Google after a few months. In fact, since these sites were bought, I have lost a few thousand dollars on these sites.

Please note that the legality of mp3search. ru is highly questionable, even though it is legal itself in Russia.

I am sorry that you had bad experience with other site.
Anyway we did not have situations of abovesaid with our webmasters.
So we are giving a tool and explain how to use it. And now comes the webmasters work to push it. We give all our support for that. It is not like you just put it and start to get money. Unless you have a good traffic for that. If you do not, then you will have to make some work. We are ready to provide all our support in that. We do have experience and we are ready to share it.

Regarding legality. Our site is legal. We are not the first day on this market.
If you have further questions I am always happy to reply.

Yes, allposters and art.com pays quite a bit for selling their posters. I think it is around 30 - 40% which is like $30 - $40 in every $100 sale. The thing is, I have tried these and never got any sales. I think the conversion on these may not be that high, but then I had them in a product price comparison site and my users were probably not looking for posters at the time.

Have you tried being a web host affiliate. There is a lot of competition in the search engine for that key word, but can be very profitable.
