Which affiliate scheme?

I have been thinking for sometime now that I should get in on the whole affiliate scheme shenanigans, but which ones would members recommend that I try? I don't want to have to pay anything out really, and Im not looking to make major amounts of money. It would just be nice to try and get some extra $$ to top up what I make from adverts.

Anyone got any ideas?

I think it depends to an extent on the site as to what will work best you could have one site work well with adsense another generate sales with clickbank suppose it is trial and error to an extent.

Sometimes if you build an amazon astore and hook it up to a site that gets traffic you can make a few bob there but again the type of products dictate your earnings i did one with books and it was all relatively low commissions and not worth the effort but for products that are a bit higher price wise it can pay dividends.

Well, do you have any particular interests in mind for the type of affiliate program you want to participate in? Or is it all based on the money? You got to find something you are going to have a passion for. Otherwise you won't like promoting that affiliate program.

Using references like affiliatetips(dot)com for reviews on the top affiliate programs, categories and commission rates comes very handy in choosing the appropriate program for you. scams(dot)com is also useful in gaining awareness about rip-off schemes and scams that we should all stay clear of.

I am a member of clickbank/CommissionJunction also been doing guite well with the surveys sites that are free to join (I don't do offers/surveys just promote)
