There are many ways to choose the best affiliate products to promote.You may read others blog and sites who are already working with it.Some affiliate networks have their own tools to test which product is working best.For example from cbtrends you will get the information about the performance of different CB products.

I do agree with the post that for promoting any affiliate program some point should be kept in mind like demand, its payment structure, and stability.

Well, it depends on you, what niche knowledge you have? In order to become an affiliate and promote the products you need to have enough knowledge about the service and products. There are several programs in each niche, just make sure you pick the niche you are comfortable with. However, there are also, some highest paying web hosting affiliate programs that pays £300 per sale just by referring a customer. It could be a great way to generate huge income online.

I choose affiliate program by checking competition in niche, if it has low competition with high conversion ratio , i prefer those program

Pick a niche and stick to it - decide what niche pays well from an affiliate standpoint - It must be something your enjoy. Then become the best at it , research your competitors and try to nail the sub niches. This is my way of selecting the best affiliate products to promote.
