Thread: Bing a bit slow or not?

For the past few weeks I have noticed that bing is a bit slow in indexing pages of new website as compared to other search engines. What do you think? Have any one experienced similar problem?

I don't! Check your speed limits with a bandwidth online test.

Yea, I have used it a few times to give it a shot & it's not slow for me at all.

do not feel on searching.. but taking little time to load because of the picture background.

I have not found it to be slow.

I didn't noticed that thing as well. Maybe it has something to do with the structure of your website too?

when it browse front page some time it looks like. but not on search result.

It's a bit slow for me when my Toggle SEO Information is open.

yes of course bing is bit slow then Google

I think the original poster was suggesting bing tends to be slow at finding, crawling, and indexing a new site into bing search results. Not bing page is slow loading in terms of internet speed.

I do believe bing is much slower at crawling a site compared to google. Yahoo was fairly decent, but now since yahoo is serving up bing results we'll have to keep watching yahoo.

It is tough to just get bing to come crawl a new site. Established sites it does seem to do a better job, but it still takes a long time to index a new post into bing. My server logs show bing crawls about 4 times less or 1/4 the rate google does.

Try to submit or build inbound links to those sites that were already indexed by bing.

Yes, it is not slow in working but it is slow in ranking any website so soon.

Yeah, Bing seems bit slower than Google to me. But its over all performance is not bad. This is my second selection that means after Google i like bing.

If this problem is really exist there is mainly reason that is server speed to fetch the search query.
