Thread: Traffic from Bing ?

Do you receive traffic from new MSN search ? I don't even from the old one I received very little. Anyone know how to boost traffic from MSN search ?

SEOing your site in Bing.

As far as I know, Bing algorithm is more straightforward. links/anchor texts = ranking for that anchor text. And Bing like an older domain, unique content, good neighborhood and relevant text in key HTML tags.

I get minimum traffic from Bing.

My website never receive any traffic from bing. Time for me to do something I guess

cecille, Google like all those things too ! Old domains, unique content, keywords in Anchor keys and all and we get traffic from Google and we can see traffic improves but not from Bing.

if you want to boost on msn search, you have start your promotion on google. msn or bing search work like google search. Try to keep your content top of the google page. you surely get good result from msn.

I continue to get very good results with bing..

I have started seeing lots of traffic from Bing myself. I think this goes to show that there isn't much difference between 'G' and Bing in terms of SEO.

If you optimise for 'G', it should be enough to get you on top of Bing as well.

Yes..I got traffic from Bing and it somehow helps.

Interesting thoughts. I'm starting to think Bing is really similar to Google in terms of algorithms and results, but with less traffic.

I don't think so but I don't really know. Reason is I am on ft page of bing and yahoo for keywords I don't even show up at in google.

Well there are many more factors than that to take into account
I have the identical spots on both bing as I do in google for some of my top key words

I was looking at it the other way around. When I have a good position in Google, the Bing position seems to follow. Hence my suggestions to optimize for Google and let Bing rankings come naturally.

I've noticed identical spots for one of my proxy sites and a few other things.

well i too get a very little traffic from Bing, its just that Bing has a very few users so traffic from Bing is also less compared to others.

Sorry i am not using Bing I will be using Google for the day.

We have traffic from bing at our car accessory store, but it is not profitable. We get more than a thousand from bing but it is useless.

Bing is a search engine that finds and answers you need. I get four percent of my site traffic from Bing. I think it is really providing more traffic to my site.

So, don't try to get traffic from Bing. Just b/c not too much user use Bing to search.

Bing drive good traffic but you must optimize your site for bing

Also, I actually prefer how my Bing search Engine Result looks over how Google has my site listed!

Bing Search Results seem to provide more information in your search listing as compared to Google.

This may be why people are receiving less traffic from Bing as they are able to read more information about a webpage prior to clicking on the search listing. They have more to read about, and thus receive more information and can easily ascertain more rapidly whether or not they want to click on the link or not.

So don't blame BING for your site not receiving traffic, it may be that you do not have any information on your site which site visitors are interested in reading about!

Yes, I should agree with it.
Aim and work on Google SEO, if you got good result in Google then you will surely get good result in all other search engines for sure.

I really don't rely on the traffic coming from the Bing search engine. For me, the core target is the potential traffic coming from the Google search engine.

On my personal site I get no traffic from Bing. Mostly from Google and some from Yahoo.
