None, why do you need a AdSense Plugin? Isn't easier to place yourself the ad units ?
I can stick them in sidebars, but no idea how to in posts.
To place AdSense into posts you generally need to edit files such as single.php OR index.php
You can use CSS to contorl positioning such as to float left or right or to place in center.

I use Adsense Manager . No special reason except it was the most popular when i started so I just kept using it.
It allows easy integration with a small snippet of code anywhere. Like this:[ad#name] in posts or<?php adsensem_ad('name'); ?> in template. Sidebars show up automatically in widgets.
It also works when any other affiliate.

With Adsense Manager you do not need to edit the files for posts, you can just insert the small code.

I don't know much about the adsense plugins but there is 30 free adsense wordpress themes here myturbotraffic.com/wordpress hope it helps!
I'm a fan of the simple and easy to use Adsense Manager. Most of the time I don't even use it for Adsense but rather Comission Junction or other affiliate network ads. It's really simple, just paste in your code, then add it wherever you want it.
I'm having a battle getting Adsense Manager to work. I just tried it again and it isn't showing up. Where can you set the sizes?
Click on "Manage Ad Units" and then hit the "edit settings" button on an ad unit. Next you will see a drop down selector that includes the sizes - this is below header "Appearance" and "Ad Format"
It could be that you have an older version. The most current one is 3.2.13. When I go to this page I see several different options.
I upgraded to the latest one just today for the site I am playing with now.

I copied a code from a working ad (on another site) to see if it worked. It doesn't show in the post where I wanted it. It is a text ad and no other text ads are on the site.
You did add the code to the post using the HTML editor? and if so did you double check to make sure tha name of the ad unit matches up?
There is a dropdown in html view which lets you select which ad unit to place.
