Thread: What type of blog do you have?

Mine is a self-hosted Wordpress blog and I really can't fault the system at all. I've used WordPress for years now and have never felt the urge to switch to anything else. It's always had as far as I can recall all the functionality I'd want. My only small gripe is that you have to go into the cpanel to upload a new theme unlike the Joomla CMS where you can do it from the admin panel.

If anyone is new to WordPress and needs a hand figuring out the Dashboard admin panel, please do just ask and I'll do my best to help you out no problem. I'm not saying I'm an expert, but I try.

I'm new and I can't seen to get some of my plug ins to work correctly.

I use Posterous.com or Tumblr.com for hosted blogs and Wordpress when I host my own.

i use blogger for mainstream content and love it,so easy to use
for adult related content i use thumblogger

WordPress is the way to go. It's a brilliant platform to blog on, really easy and accessible. I recommend it to anyone.

Wordpress is good but blogger.com is very good then word press.

For blog starters I prefer them using blogger first, and for more advance users wordpress "hands down".. this was just my suggestion.

wordpress is the best platform to use

I am in the process of building a wordpress blog that will be targeted for script distributors. In short.. they will be able you go to my blog and post info on their latest scripts, and if possible endusers can also post reviews/comments on the particular scripts.

I have used Blogger for several blogs, one of which is currently active. I've also got a blog with Blog-City. I recommend them. The only downside is that it's not free. But it's really good, and the the customer service is excellent.

I use blogger and they have been pretty easy and reliable to use. I also like that you can monetize with adsense for free, unlike wordpress. Also I was informed that wordpress doesn't allow more than 2 affiliate links on a blog.

I also use a self-hosted wordpress blog and don't really have anything bad to say about it.

I am using blogger and don't mind it, however when I check my one blogs stats, it says its too big and has too many URLs??? IDK if that bad or what?

A general blog that posts about everything really and am using wordpress, self hosted of course. I absolutely love wordpress...It was SO extremely easy for me to get the hang of.
