my one friend have 3 blogs and he recieve overhaul 25000 impressions from his blogs and he says meta tags are every thing is by meta can we recieve traffic without doing any marketing.

You have to do marketing if you want traffic

Well I think Google take special attention for Blogger.com blogs still if you want to increase your traffic you need to do SEO.

Is this traffic daily or monthly?

It really needs to promote it by doing the off page optimization. Meta tags can helps but w/o promoting your blog will lead to a zero traffic. Just be sure you have a good content before promoting it.

The real purpose of Google Blogs are to make money and if you want generate income using your blog you must do marketing. :cheerful:

you have to use others ways together such as articles submitting、forum signature、link exchanges and ppc or other things.

absolutely,i heard that google robots doesnt count on meta keywords again, u must doing a good submisssion with ur blog articles...

If u want traffic overthat..It is compulsory to to do marketing for that

Meta tags doesn't make a blog or site to rank higher.
in fact, most search engines dont use it again and having just meta tags for your blog without doing any SEO wont be able to bring that much visitors that your friend told you of.

Even if they "belong" to google you still have to market them on your own.

i made metatag on my latest blog, doesnt seem any improvement from source of traffic, i think doing soc book is worth than meta tag..

I don't believe this at all
I setup some blogger accounts that are automatically updates with a few networks I'm a part of, and they all see very little traffic because I haven't tried to promote them at all.
Just like everything, if you want it to be seen, you must market it.

Yes Google blog also needs marketing to obtain more traffic. But i think Google blog gets special attention. So these blogs achieve more traffic than others.

this information isn't enough, is this monthly? daily? what?
what kind of content is there on that blog
how many content pages does your friend have?

getting 25000 page views per month with thousands of unique content pages on 3 blogs wouldn't be that impressive, getting that traffic daily with few highly ranked articles would be another story...

however if you want to rank for some decent keywords marketing is always required

we do need a marketing in blog

of course every blog needs a good marketing tactics for good result
