To promote blog best thing is to promote is "Social Media Optimization" because you can joined people related to your theme.

There are two ways to go after blog promotion and I have seen great success both ways. Many think that social media is the way to go since you can really interact with your niche and the people in social websites are interactive "plenty of blog comments". On the other hand search engine optimization is another great way to increase traffic. From my experience the traffic from search engines is less interactive, but easier to monetize. I think that a combo is the best way so work on getting rank in the search engines and increase your network on social medias. You will have both types of traffic. Begin participating and watch how successful people operate within these websites.

Niche related.

Best would be to comment on blogs without the "nofollow tag" in the comment section.

Another great resource for traffic and backlinks I´m using are article directories and niche related forums!

Use good contents. Place your targeted keywords. Then Ping it. Update your blog regularly and ping it regularly. Submit to RSS feeds directories. Write another article and submit them to several top article directories. Don't forget to submit them to social bookmarking websites. You will do better. But DON'T Spam the forum or blog.

I guess forums are very helpful for promote our blogs since it is very interactive. Members of forums could easily share which blog is helpful or not also forums will give way to your blog's popularity.

^ Leaving your comments on other blogs is a great way to tell people about yourself and providing your blog with exposure.

But I noticed most blogs don't accept comments and always pending for moderation... Is there any way to increase our comments chance to be posted?

Be sure your blog has a good content first. Then you can promote it by doing the off page factors.. I also have my blog and I'm getting a good traffic with participating in top 10 social bookmarking sites. Be sure you're interacting, like joining in various groups so that your submission will be recognize
