Its ok but i would not say it is very good. There must be a huge number of blogs that simply do not make money. It is not an overnight thing, you have to put the hours in over a long period of time to get a decent return.

Maybe some people earn enough money through their blogs to make a living but I can't imagine that this will happen with my projects. I don't have enough time to promote them properly and I guess it needs a lot of time and energy.

Yes, but it all depends. I don't think blogs are successful unless the webmaster is really inspired by what they write about. You can gain readers by writing about what truly makes you smile. Setting up a blog just to make money doesn't work.
