Thread: wordpress vs blogger?

which is better.

if you have your own hosting and domain then WordPress is recommended
and if have not both then Blogger is highly recommended

I wont recommend blogger in any case. I think it is the worst service offered by google. I love all the their other services like gmail and adsense.
Biggest draw back is they will delete your blog when ever they want, and accuse you of spamming. The best part is you don't have any right to complain or report either. One day you will wake up and you will see your blog flagged as spam and a few days latter it is gone.

Anyhow, I like Blogger because it's nice and simple.

wordpress for sure

I would suggest Wordpress for any hardcore blogger because it is highly customizable. The interface is also nice and straightforward for people to pickup and understand. Wordpress is probably the most widely used blog out there, don't miss out!

WP is better and blogger not recommended.

Blogger is for those who want free blogs and sub domains.

If anything, you'll see a lot of popular blogs online using Word Press. It comes pre-installed on my Fantastico and I'm pretty glad my current host offers it. Easy installation too.

According to me,blogger is better than wordpress because wordpress is not user friendly than blogger!

anyway, if you are looking for a CMS platform, I recommend wordpress simply because of the plug in we are using and base in my own experience this is easier to index than the blogger..

I will recommend wordpress, reasons
1.Large no of free themes
2. Unlimited premium themes.
3.Plugins for SEO, Sitemap, Social widget, membership site ste
4.very easy to use.

Wordpress, without a doubt. You have so many plugins, themes, options etc. Get your own host and domain name and then setup a WordPress blog. Better for SEO too, might I add.

Blogger is good for people who are new in blogging and for those people who has its own hosting then it it much preferred to use wordpress blog

Wordpress for sure. grab a cheap web host or vps and install wordpress.

Wordpress is better of course. Blogger is so frustrating to use. It takes 10 minutes to add one link, for example, and you have to add each one at a time. Blah!

I like bloger better as IMO Google likes sites on Blogger more and they get more traffic.

just like google became the search engine of choice, wordpress has become the dominant blogging platform.

the amount of themes, plugins and tutorials is amazing.

Blogger is recommended for the newbies and wordpress is suited for computer geek.
Blogger is good in the eyes of Google and you can access your Google Adsense while Wordpress has a lot of plugins

In my opinion blogger is best for newbies and after familiarizing blogger I think its better to try wordpress also cuz it has a lot of features also.

Yes this is accurate. If you go to many personally domains of bloggers, you'll find that most of them use Wordpress Blogs. Wordpress is great. It is what I use.

I can say Blogger and WordPress are ideally suited to a business blog even though there are some limitations. Both can be beneficial to our site.

i would choose blogger its better

well obviously go for the thing that can be owned by you, you will be the admin and you will have the whole and sole rights which is possible in wordpress but not in anyway in blogs. Blog is always you are creating a sub domain in that blog which itself becomes a secondary domain. No matter what, the product you own is completely different and better than living under other hands. what yo say?

Well according to my limited experience I found blogger good without hosting and wordpress is better if you have your own hosting.

This is a super common thread on a lot of forums. I dont think one is necessarily better than the other. Blogger seems to have better capability for business purposes. For literary, visual and content oriented purposes, I prefer WordPress.

Wordpress is better for professional use, and blogger is for personal use. Both have their qualities where they are better to be use.

I like blogger. Because is very much customizable.

I had my blog on blogger for about 6 months and I finally decided to transfer it to wordpress. It's so much better and I have no regrets for doing that.
