Thread: My blog is removed by Google

I am using one blogger blog and recently i have found out that it is gone in my dashboard in my blogger account and it is PR2 they say its a spam so I wonder if I can still recover it?. I am planning to buy domain for it but I was afraid that pagerank would be removed as well..Now its completely gone because they say its a spam I havent even updating it because I got busy with other things and when I check its gone in my dashboard already...

Ya... Google delete the blogspot blog because of inactivity or duplicate content or spamming... I had cope this situation.. Google deleted my blog that was a quite well.

Google delete copy and paste content, spamming, and over linking of your log.

Remember that Google has ultimate ownership of the webspace in which you post your blog. Responsible maintenance of your blog is expected, you can perhaps contact customer service to retrieve data and rebuild.

You may have done some black hat technique that you are not even aware of. You should research topic, and see if you done something wrong

did you paste a load of duplicate content? Google doesn;t like that at all . . .

Have you done something on your blog in which google decided to removed your blog? I think there's no way to recover your blog if it's already deleted.

If you have Adsense on your blog, that might have contributed to its removal. Most accounts I've seen removed have adsense on them.

I don't know, but 'G' seem to be flagging blogs with more than 3 adsense on a page.
Just a opinion.

Is there an option to contact G about it? - I had my blog suspended (although it was on weblog.com) it was just "satellite blog" with duplicate content from Ezinearticles (made to eventually link to my main website) They give you option to contact them if your blog was flagged as spam by mistake. So I did just that and they "unsuspended" and whitelisted it. Worth a try.

I agree that you should contact blogger support and see if they will give you your blog back.

However, you said that you will be purchasing a domain name for it. All new domain names start out with zero rank. So even if you got the blog back and put it on a domain name, you would still have to build up PR for it. Just FYI.

I dont understand how to get traffic inorder not remove my blog ??

The same thing happened to me for more than 3 times.they just deleted my blog without any prior notice by their so called anti spam bot.One of my blog there was 2 year old and had pr 2 with 350 posts.My pr gone as the blog deleted.I contacted with google for lots of time to restore my blog.but it seems they dont hear my words and also delete the restore option from the blogger dashboard.Thats why having a own domain and hosting is always recommended.

copy and paste factor is important removing a blog from Google.

Well it is removed because you are banned by blogger because of some offense you made. To think that when you buy a domain for it, you would restore it's previous PR then you're probably wrong.

This is why I won't use blogger blog. I use wordpress. So many people have told me about how google removed their blogger blog when they were not posting spam. A few ads is not spam. I don't know exactly what thier criteria is, but I would rather stay away from blogger blog.

Doing anything to violate the Blogger / Google terms of use can lead to a temporary penalty or permanent ban / deletion of the blog. make sure to read through all the rules before you start posting stolen / ripped / duplicate content, Before you start sending mass email spam, before you start spamming your blog link in forums / chat / other blog comments, & definitely before you start trying to use any traffic generating software's or scripts when you have adsense. Normally, you will NEVER get your account back & may even get your IP banned if you are found to be doing it again with a new blog.

Even though you switched to WP, google can still ban your site from even being listed in the search index & can still ban you from adsense (if you use) and are found in violation of the terms of use. In short, switching Blogs to try & continue using unethical tactics to manipulate search results & get traffic is NOT a solution, and can still have the same negative results.

And the correct definition of spam is:: ANY unsolicited (meaning you didn't get permission first) Advertisements sent to someone classifies as spam (no matter how many times you do it - even once). And yes, posting a link and asking people to visit is considered an advertisement.

Maybe you duplicated content. But I don't think you can get back your site, Google is very strict with their penalties

Sometimes you can violate the rules without even realising it. It is a good idea to run your site through a website spam checker tool. This should highlight any potential issue.

another factor why google deleted your blog is maybe because of excessive use of keywords. Which also known as keywords stuffing. Be more cautious when you write next time. Also, I don't think it is advisable if you'll recover your blogs, google might just see it and bans it again. Why not create a new blog site?

yes, i have one with PR4 and now its N/A...

I think your content has duplication or there are lots of links that looks suspicious for spamming..

I think the reason is you are not updating your site a long time ago.. but seriously I hear more people like you who delete their blogs in blogger ouch.. hope my blog will not be deleted..

Just for future reference to anyone, Google does not delete blogs on Blogger for no reason.

If you find that your Blogger blog is deleted, it's because you violated Google's rules.

this is not impossible since google thinks your blog is a spam,i think the better thing to do is go back from the start and make it clean this time make sure that you will keep your blog updated.

Google is a search engine and you musn't forget it.
So if you want not to get banned like this guy, you'd write a unique content.

Definitely there should be something wrong from your side as I also have not updated my blog from last one year, but still it exists there. But thanks for sharing your Suspicion here as I would also update my blog as early as possible.
