If you blog is very popular you can earn by placing some adverts.

Really spend time developing your idea, and think in terms of 1 and 2 year plans. Set some goals for yourself in terms of building content and a user base, and then follow through with those goals.

Step One – Choose a niche and domain name
Step two – Buying a domain name (your website) and hosting it (Or use a free blog host)
Step Three – Setting up your blog or installing
Step Four- writing something original, don't copy/Paste
Step Five – Add affiliate PPC or PPA links & banners (Google, adbright, infolinks, cj, etc.)
Step Six – promote your Blog/site (Link building, Paid ads, exchanges, Free ads, etc.)
Step Seven - Analyze statistics, then Rinse and repeat what works.

And that's about it, just takes some dedication on your part. Don't expect to get rich over night though. The most successful bloggers have been doing it many many years.
