I started a new website about...well, creating websites.
I'd like to see what other people think of it so far, it's an on-going work:

Any comments are appreciated.
Thanks

Not bad. Needs some minor editing such as the Newsletter on the right side. You should really have a box around it to draw the eye of the user. Also, the second section on the right side as a description of joining a network, then a lot of white space before the actual signup form. Those should be closer together.
Many of your pages have the same "don't leave me like that". These need to be addressed and content needs to be in those sections. The Google Adsense is overwhelming and either should be changed into a graphic or reduced so that it's not so overwhelming that you're just looking to have people click on links.
Comments appear to be disabled on your blog. This will hurt your SEO as it's the blog comments that keep the search engines coming back for more content and allow your visitors to interact with your site (and other visitors).
Overall not bad. Pay attention to the MetaTags for Title and Description. There's no for Description. Also, while the Keywords aren't used by Google, other search engines DO use them. They're also a handy way to make sure that the blog remained on topic for the particular post.

Your website is rich with contents but no or very few pictures. People visit the website give a breif look and close the website. If you can create some good pics with content that would be very good for your website as well as good for SEO. Give alt tag to these pics, and search engine like google will include these pics in image search. cheer....
I also think that your website is riched with text, but you need to add images to relax your visitors' eyes. Also I suggest you to create categoriers in the left side and replace there Blog, HTML, JavaScript, Ajax, PHP, Flash, CSS, jQuery, MySQL. I think this change will make your website navigation more user-friendly. Also I suggest you to remake your logo and header.
The goal of my website is to provide people with educational articles that people can learn something from... by actually reading them.
It makes no sense that by adding images you would have a chance of improving the amount of time people spend on a website. By adding an image to a website you are going to increase traffic comes from Google Images, that in many cases is the traffic that usually does not convert well.
Images can compliment existing text-based content, but they are not an absolute requirement. If your writing is good and you can identify your audience and explain concepts well, then text is all you need to keep the reader engaged.
When someone wants to learn something, they are less interested in the presentation of the content than they are in actually learning new information. So this is why it is always best to focus on the ability of your article to teach something. Written word is an excellent medium for teaching that information to an interested party. If someone is not interested in spending a few minutes on the page I have written and actually read it then I don't want them visiting my website in the first place.
So...that's simply not true, many people spend between 10 to 60 minutes reading articles on my website.People visit the website give a brief look and close the website.
Let's take a look at actual statistics of my website:
I think the average of 1:13 minutes spent on the site is far from a "brief look". Most visitors spend at least that amount of time reading the content.

You are right but i was telling about search engine give good page rank for having pictures with alt tags. But contents are the king of SEO with good and well define headings, which can called as H1 tags.
