Thread: Email to BLOG

Blogger has an option called mail to blog. With this if you send an email to a specific email address it becomes a post on the blog.
The subject is the title ... the body is the content.

So you know any other blogs that have this option available?

Actually, its a feature called Mail-To-Blogger, which turns any email account into a blog posting application. In Settings >> Email you need to create a "Mail-to-Blogger Address" which you will use to send posts via email to your blog. The format of the Address will be "username.secretkey@blogger.com" . You need to make sure that you keep the address secret or if this address is disclosed anyone would be able to post blog entries to your blog using that mail-to-blogger address.

Do you know the name of the plugin for drupal?

I bet Wordpress has this plugin too. maybe Tumblr as well?

in wordpress this is an automatic option and you don't need a plugin though, you have to just do some settings. Just search in google "post to wordpress using email"

Worked for wordpress and wordpress.com. I shall see for tumblr and post an update
