Default Designer Frames For LCD TV's

Considering that they are now marketing TV's as thin as 1/8th of an inch thick, I'm surprised no one is doing custom decorator frames for the wall mounted sets. Seems like that would be a ready and lucrative market. I would love a nice curvy or round frame surrounding my TV.. It would be unique. Wish I was handy!

(Also wish I had a wall mounted TV!)

In the meantime, I found this site: Sprint Skins

I'm going to look into the Cricut Cutter as a way of designing and cutting my own skins to order..

Hmm, not so sure. Could be like those mock antique TV cabinets from the 80s!

I've used a Cricut. What did you want to know about it? The standard Cricut just uses 6"x12" pieces of paper. I've heard that there is (or will be soon) a Cricut that can handle a 12"x12" sheet. But I don't get the connection of using the Cricut to cut out TV frames... Unless you are thinking of piecing together a lot of small pieces of paper to make a frame.

Yes, the Cricut Expression is the larger unit..

Well the Cricut will also cut vinyl won't it? I don't know enough about it as to whether you can cut to your own specs but if you could, you could cut something suitable, I'd think. Just a thought..
