Could be a vista related issue. I am on XP, I have Firefox and IE7 installed and also have "multiple IE's" installed so I can use IE3 to IE6 for design purposes... and IE7 never once gave me an issue.

Adobe Photoshop is what gives me issues, it hates my notebook and vice versa...

Could be, try running IE7 without Photoshop running for a bit.

Give me some system stats and I could tell better what the problem is. Vista eats ram like a stuck pig. That most likely will be the ultimate culprit.

Not enough ram vista is eating it. Check to see how much it is using. Then go to my blog and see if some of the tricks I have up will help bring it down some.

Ditto! Firefox kept crashing on me a week or three ago Oddly enough it fixed itself (after several restarts and trouble shooting) when I used IE to search for possible reasons :sroll:

I don't like IE7 because it's another browser version I have to worry about when I'm coding a website. I have to take into consideration Mac browsers, old versions of IE, Firefox, and now IE7 as well. They should not have strayed from the formula. It interprets HTML and special characters differently than other versions of IE. I have one website that I built for my company that uses an overscore in the name and got it working in all browsers except IE7. Ahhhh frustrating!!!

Well, it actually made it easier in the end cause they made it so it parses webpages the same as all the other browsers, so in essence, the version to hate is IE6 and lower.

Eventually most people will be upgraded to version 7 and us designers still have to be sure the pages look good in IE6 and lower.

I'd advise you to install multiple IE's. Which you can download from this page: Install multiple versions of IE on your PC | TredoSoft
