What would you rather have...

4GB Dual Channel DDR2 SO-DIMM at 667MHz – 2 x 2048MB512MB NVIDIA® GeForce™ 8700M GT - Enables DirectX® 10 Graphics!

or

2GB Dual Channel DDR2 SO-DIMM at 667MHz – 2 x 1024MB and
Dual 512MB NVIDIA® GeForce™ 8700M GT - SLI Enabled and

or is neither of those worth the extra cost so just go with

2GB Dual Channel DDR2 SO-DIMM at 667MHz – 2 x 1024MB and
GeForce™ 8700M GT - Enables DirectX® 10 Graphics!

well it'll mainly be for designing, graphics, webbing...etc...

BUT i do like to play games too

Video because of the flight sim. I assume you will upgrade and you know Microcrap they demand the best performance you can have.

I would go with the 4GB RAM for Photoshop and the gaming.
And, if you're really into gaming, then find a 1GB video card instead of the 512MB.
Who wants to get killed because their video card sucks? :P

I do not have to worry about video cards. I get killed because I suck. has nothing to do with my machines lol.

thinking about going with this...it's 1000 bucks cheaper...and just as good with the exception of the graphics...and i'm sure I could upgrade the graphics card for a lot less than 1000...

though this is an hp setup...i've got 4 hp desktops right now that have done really well for me...hopefully their laptops are the same...

Good choice they are excellent laptops. I have the zv6000 model and will never give it up. :1942:

yeah, i've been looking at it...and the only thing i see extra (for $160 more) is the inclusion of texas hold'em....lol...think i'll ditch the vista ultimate...
