Thumbs up Bought 2 New Video Cameras

I just bought a Sanyo Xacti CG6 digital video camcorder two weeks ago off eBay for $150. It's 6mp, and 640x480/30fps with a host of features including anti-shake, super-macro down to 1 cm, good low light capabilities, in camera editing, etc. Takes awesome video straight to (up to) 4gb SD card in MP4 format, great still photos too.

    http://www.sanyo-dsc.com/english/pro...cg6/index.html

great 10 min. video review (youtube):

YouTube - Review of the Sanyo Xacti Cg6

THEN, last night I saw a Sanyo Xacti C4 on eBay and bought that one too! The C4 is basically the same camera, but 4mp (vs 6mp) and includes a docking station and remote. Uses the same batteries and memory cards. A little less capable in low light than the CG6 (the CG6 also supports the newer SDHC SD cards)

Looking for the (now discontinued) underwater housing for the C4: a Sanyo EHS-400X underwater housing (which is rated to 45 meters)

    SANYO Xacti VPC-C4

I've been doing some online reviews recently and want to start doing video reviews. (Plan to buy a Philips SPC900NC/27 webcam next )

Hey, actually I live pretty much paycheck to paycheck but not having a family to worry about helps!

Always a possibility I was mainly interested because I read a review saying the remote could be used to fire the camera, which could come in handy (I've also seen conflicting reports which say the remote is for playback only)

I didn't really need the extra camera but thought it was a good price too.

Eventually I'd like to shoot some local video of businesses (for cash) and it might be handy to have a two-camera perspective. Idea would be to sell businesses on a video for a presense on the web for a flat rate fee and uploaded to 10 online video sites. Dunno if I'll ever actually get around to doing it tho as I'm lazy.

Buying a Philips SPC900NC (90fps) webcam this week then my life will be complete.
