I'm using the stable version of Firefox 2.0
But you can download the beta version from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html

I know.. I have the beta 5 lol..
I'm not going to bother till there is a stable release. I like my plugins![]()

Meh, I dont use plugins other than themes, and this compact one is for beta, so ill keep beta til i run into a big problem..but prolly wont be any, so i hope![]()

Yeah, I'm gonna wait till the Firefox Beta will be stable, just like benjaminp.
Also what is your experience with Firefox Beta, do you like the new features ?

I didn't really read or see about new features, only thing i see is the icons and stuff, but yeah they look cool

I think they have added some new features to Firefox Beta, because if they just changed the design then it wouldn't be called Beta
But I can't wait until they will finish the Firefox Beta version, so i can try it out.

Yeah i know, i need to read whats new about it

The probably are adding some new interfaces and probably security settings.
It will probably slow down the Firefox after they will add all of those things.

Prolly not, firefox is a speed demon![]()

Yeah, it might and it might not
Firefox is really great.
They got a huge team who created Firefox:
![]()

Oh wow lol, never saw that pic haha

You can see their team information at this page Careers | Mozilla
They got a really huge team, I thought they would only have about 7 people maximum.
But on that picture there is about 30 people that work for Firefox.
I didnt count, but it seems more like 50 peeps, maybe even more!

I have actually counted the people on the picture and I got around 97 people.

I'm running the latest beta under Linux and pages load a lot faster especially heavily AJAX'd pages like Gmail. I'm still running the latest stable version under Windows and pages load noticeably slower.

I heard so many good reviews from people about the Firefox Beta and now I think I'm going to try this beta version.
Thanks Big Dan for the good review about Firefox Beta.

Yeah, firefox = ownage

I have used Firefox my whole life on the internet.
I use Internet Explorer just sometimes to check if the site is compatible with other browsers.

I cant be PAID to use Internet Explorer!!! (actually i prolly could LOL) but anyways...
I HATE IT!!! Nothing compares to firefox.. i always ask my mom why she uses IE instead of FF......

Yeah, i really don't understand why people still use Internet Explorer when they can get a much higher speed with Firefox surfing the internet and more security.
Microsoft has added so many things to Internet Explorer that sometimes when I test my sites the browser freezes.

Yeah, when I'm gonna stick to this forum then I'm not gonna be able to unstick.
I think I have already sticked to this forum, because I'm on this site almost all the time for the past 2 days using my super fast Firefox Browser.
It has been 10 years since now when Firefox was created.

I'm not even going to touch it till there is a stable version.
Beta versions shouldn't be downloaded unless you intend to help develop it. Simple as. So basicly for testing different standards complient pages in the browser and reporting any bugs. I wouldn't use a beta for general browsing.

Yeah, stable version is always safer then beta version.
I might try the Firefox Beta version sometime this week and see how it works.

Meh, i like this beta (:
