Thread: Weird msn logins?

Anyone have this issue? Randomly I have two unknown email addresses placed in my msn login screen.
Never heard or seen them before.


antoinetteqortiz34019@hotmail.com

and

anniejwomack58788@hotmail.com


Both seem similar, with a long name, and 5 digits.
Seems almost like a spam bot or something?

Just me and my girlfriend.
No idea who they are, nor have I ever heard of them.

I never login manually, always auto-login, so I've never noticed them.

I have a problem on my Vista machine where, every once in a while, some of my cookies disappear, but not all of them. When it happens, I have to manually login again to many sites.
If nobody has had access to your computer recently, but has in the past, maybe one of your cookies (that was getting preference over other cookies) just went missing? Leaving the recessive cookie to do it's thing?

Just shooting in the dark, here.

The only other thing I can think of is that someone has remotely been able to place the cookies there. Either via a website you've visited or more locally by wireless?

But I meant my msn messenger on my pc, not online.
So, it's not my browser remembering a password, it's the software.


And I've never seen the emails before, I don't recognize either of them.

I don't use MSN messenger, but wouldn't that password also be stored as a cookie?
With most programs, I would think not, but this is an M$ program so maybe?

Don't think it runs off cookies, but I'm not 100% sure on that.


There isn't a password, there's the option to save a password, but there isn't one saved.

Why don't you fully uninstall the piece of garbage and reinstall and see if it's still happening?

It's not even that, I can easily do that.
Or, I can click them and delete them.

It's the fact that I need to get proof that these emails aren't from me, or another girl for my girlfriend.
And I want to know personally how the fuck they got on there. :\

Oh I see so it's causing lovers quarrels? Still if you remove and reinstall and it's gone, at least it helps narrow it down some I'd think. Have you downloaded anything recently?

Last thing I downloaded was an open source wallpaper changer.

Everything else is torrents, which I scan big time.
No clue where it's come from.


Though, running spybot for 1/4 second, I found a shitload of spyware I haven't noticed
So, I still stick to my 'spyware or bot has taken over my msn' concept.

One word... reboot. You probably have spyware installed.

You can never be over cautious in these situations.

Also go to another computer and change all of your online passwords, especially PayPal and WTF.

I have always set up my computer so that I can backup my files and walk away (i.e. reboot) it in less than a minute.

Also rebooting your computer once in a while is good for it however you need to reinstall all of your software

edit: you said you use torrents, if you haven't already, download NOD32

Forgot nod32, i used to love that thing.
Using AVG now, since I cant' find a working nod32 these days. :P
