Thread: how many of you have ipod ?

hey guys im planning to buy a ipod what do you think i should go for it or not ?
im really not sure

I-pods are sure the coolest of the cool when it comes to "take along" devices, (i dont think we can call it an MP3 player anymore, as they do so much else)

But, the fact of the matter is, they are so damned overpriced!!

So you are buying name and status!

I have a iPod Nano.

I too have one!

I don't have iPod at the moment but soon I will buy one. It is a cool gadget and should have one.

I have an iPod somewhere.... I don't use it much anymore...

Yep. You're totally right.

If you want quality sound don't get an iPod. iPod is a just commercial crap, they have done everything and they forgot to work on the sound quality.
I hope the whole Apple company isn't like that, because I'd like to have one iMac :P
Check out Sony's Walkmans, they are pretty good.

I've got an old 4th Gen 40GB iPod that lives in a hifi dock, and a 2nd Gen 4GB Nano that lives in my pocket. If I was to ever lose or break my Nano, I'd buy a new one the same day no probs - I can't live without it.

I use the old one for playing crappy 80s music when I'm at home through my hifi, and the Nano for listening to podcasts and radio shows when I'm walking around or out in the garden.

I've also got a 64MB Rio 500 from the dawn of time. It's awesome. Yes, I said 64MB

I have the 80GB one. Its pretty cool. You could go with that one...
If you would like to go with a cheap one then I suggest you to choose a Nano..

I love my ipod, I have it hooked up in my truck 24/7. I also own an iphone, it's great for running my business while on the road.

I've got a 40gb creative zen.

I don't support ipods the size of a quarter.

Me neither. Mipod is 40gb too. About 4 years old,bashed dropped and kicked. Not a colour one, can't really imagine watching videos that size.

I have had a few over the years they usually stop working just as the warranty expires but i still have an ipod mini that is going strong which probably means that will stop working also anytime soon.

tbh the older ipods are better, like the nano.. i think the touch is way too fragile

if you really are into music and have extra money to really buy one, then go. i would love to have one but i don't think i can afford one right now - i have 3 chowdrens who needs dog food, shampoo and supplements everymonth, plus i need to share for electric bill here in the house cuz we used way too much of it.

I have a 30 gig Zune and its really useful.

I would certainly recommend getting one!!

I have a 4gb silver ipod nano video.

previous to that i had one of those slim pencil thin blue 4gb ipod nano's but my ex stole it when i split up with him. and before that i had a 4gb blue ipod mini, loved that thing with everything i had lol

couldn't afford an ipod so I got an ipud...not nearly as stereophonic

My brother in law has one and it has some cool features. However, for what I use them for, I do not need all the fancy stuff. My cheap RCA MP3 from Walmart sounds just as good and does everything I need. It even had a nice arm band to wear everywhere I go.

Well, I don't have ipod yet, but I hope in the near future I will buy it, because listening the music is always relaxing!mg:

The problem I find with iPods are that you have to use iTunes, and in my opinion iTunes is the worse piece of software since Windows.

I prefer standard MP3 players that you can drag and drop MP3's onto a drive hen plugged in.

But just my opinion. I know people who don't know how to use computers that well think it's okay.

I have the Sansa Mp3 player Love it, couldn't live without it. I MUST have music when I work so I have this constantly attached to my arms. I never have used all the video, pictures etc features, just the music.
