So, what are they? A brief description would also be nice.
Transmission: Bittorrent client. Small and works well. Not as customizable as mutorrent, but as far as I know mu isn't available for OS X.
Quicksilver: Used to launch programs, navigate, and do just about everything. Check it out, it has a cult following and there are tutorial videos of what it can do.
Cog: Audio player. Basically a playlist with control(play, next, previous) buttons. Doesn't allow you to edit mp3 tags. Doesn't handle large m3u files well.
I hate iTunes, and I haven't been able to find a good audio player. I'm looking for something similar to WinAMP.
Bean: Word processor. Haven't used it much. Seems to handle Word files better than TextEdit. Haven't found anything better. (Neo Office is just too much.)
Firefox 3: I don't think I need to say anything about this. Faster than the previous version, and actually started using a little bit of aqua(scroll bars, buttons, checkboxes, etc.)
VLC: Audio/video player. Great for video, much better than QT.
I'm specifically interested in a photo viewer/editor, audio player, and word processor. Anything along those lines, as well as any other app you can't live without, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
