I am so surprised at this especially as they promote firefox so much. Maybe this is why the $1 for firefox/google toolbar is no longer running?

I have been using Chrome now for about an hour. What a pile of Sh1t! It has crashed 6 times, has a horrible blue title bar and is so slow. Thought id give it a spin, but one thing I have learned, Its definetly no firefox killer that's for sure.

You do realize it is still BETA, right?

I'm loving it. NOt a problem at all, and it's so nice and simple. It's brilliant.

Yeah I know its in Beta, but Still for a beta my experience was a little poor. Maybe I was just unlucky.

That is what BETA is for. They are still working on it and are still working out bugs. Your not going to have a seamless experience when something is in BETA.

I know what you mean, but I was not expecting it to crash 6 times within an hour with just normal browsing. For a Beta 2 which they say is supposedly near perfect it is pretty poor in my opinion.

By the time FF3 was in beta II there were not so many problems.

If you're browsing with windows xp set to blue, then it looks blue and IE like.
Otherwise, nothing like it.

I just heard about this, but haven't downloaded it, I hate the google scam that they are tracking whores and I assume that this is just another method for them to collect their data on us and make money while they screw us...but thats just my two cents.

Nice to see one more competitor for IE. I don't think FF users will change to this new one. So it may hurt only IE.
My policy is wait and see ...as it is a beta.

I have tried downloading this and test. pretty fast. good refresh.
needs a bit improvement of interface. but then again, i am used to using
Firefox. probably, i'll be monitoring the progress of this beta.

Google Analytics and Email not loading with Chrome.

i installed it to my pc..but after 30 minutes of using it i switched it to mozilla..i am not satisfied to google chrome

They don't have Menus on the top of the browser,

Speed is OK.

I don't think I will use it for permanent... Going back to firefox

BTW, when are people going to realize that if you come to the market with something new and cool and innovative, you have to do it on the Mac first so it will become popular on the PC.

New Chrome browser already flawed. Yes, it's beta, but I think it shows that if there's code, there's probably a way to exploit it.

I wondered how long it would be before someone found a flaw. Didn't expect it to be this quick though. Good one Google

What sort of a statement is that? MSN Live is just a tiny portion of what Microsoft do. Google may monopolize the internet, but that's where it stops. And 80% Of people who access Google and its services do so through what? "Microsoft Windows" (allowing 20% for linux & Mac, not accurate figures)

Then you have the XBox/XBox Live and many other Products that Microsoft Have. Google do not even come close to this at the moment.

I was very unimpressed with Chrome-its look way too much like a java ap. I hate the way that they run in general and this felt the same. It needs a lot of work-I tolerated it for about five minutes.

Since you're all 'loving' the new Google Chrome browser...

10 things we'd like to see in Chrome

I am sure many of you would just like to see it go away. :P

As a designer I haven't even begun to check out how it renders websites.

Ill Save you the bother. It does not render well from the testing that I did.

I should imagine that long term when it is the finished article it may be successful for them but i am not in any hurry to check it out at the moment.
