Thread: Which Laptop Brand Should I Get?

I am planning on buying a new laptop and I am down to three choices:
Dell - Toshiba - LG/LG Chocolate

Which one is the most reliable in terms of performance and graphics?

I would not go just by brand, it depends how much you want to spend and what you want to use it for. From the brands you mentioned i would say Toshiba i also like Acer and ASUS but if you need cheap go dell their not as good but for the price they go well.

it depends on the specs...toshiba is good also

I would consider utility before brand.. you should always buy what you need in terms of utility and performance. Sometimes a netbook will do what you need just as well or better than a laptop..

go with DELL
its durable and powerful, specially xps edition.

these time I also starting to like HP notebooks.

For pricing and specs i suggest "Acer" or "binQ"

for the best quality "Toshiba" make sure you getting original CD of Windows Vista or backup CD, do not use XP as its will be an old computer ..

i prefer toshiba... my friend have a laptop and the brand is toshiba and he said that it's more reliable than others. but still it's your choice in the end.

Choose dell. it is the best as of now. Toshiba are costly and some pirated versions of softwares don't run properly.
Dell laptop batteries are one of the best in the world. My cousin also consulted many experts before buying his dell laptop 6 months back.

it is not hard disk memory that makes your computer fast. it is the RAM that makes your computer fast. buy laptops with 2GB memory.

you can go for dell, its suitable for business as well as peersonal. Lenovo is also quite good.

I am a happy dell user.
3 years with any issues. I am using almost everyday of its life with at least 6 hours a day. really good.

I would recommend you HP. The only drawback i can say is the fan noise.

It depends on how you use it and on the specs, of course. My mom has a Toshiba for three years and hasn't encountered a major problem so far.

i use HP and VAIO laptops... but i think, it depends on the specs. the higher the specs, the better. but among the three, i would go for Toshiba

I can advice Toshiba as right now I have such one and I like it very much. It's perfect fro me.

I think DELL Laptop will be the best option to buy.

I think dells are pretty good, but I have had bad experiences with them. I currently have a Toshiba and it works real good. Just take care of the laptop and you should be fine

Hey could you explain me the problem because i have a DELL laptop too and its working good.

I think you should go for the Dell as dell is very reputed and trust worthy company and even i am using it for the past 2 years and had no issues so far.

I myself would run from dell, nothing but headaches, HORRIBLE support.

I've been using HP business Laptop for almost 4 years now and it is working fine but I am looking around for another Laptop and this time I think I will buy Dell, it is getting so cheaper around where I live..

From all the laptop brands Apple is my favorite one, as it provides the most advanced features and has the maximum style and functionality.

If you have a very good budget I suggest that you should go for Alienware

I would go with the tosh every time.

I don't have Laptop but I have used my friends "Dell Inspiron Series" Laptop so my vote goes to DELL.

I would suggest you to get Toshiba or Dell laptop

I prefer Dell laptop. I like the dell customer service. If I get any problem with my laptop it gets solved immediately.

For Laptops! DELL is only reliable brand in the town! because personally i am using over the years and i found it superb with its performance, speed and great output

Well don't just go by the brands. go by the configuration. if you want good graphics make sure there is a branded graphics card in it e.g. ATI. I seen laptop with Core i7 processor 2nd generation but still it doesn't have a good graphics card. If you like to play game make sure you have good RAM. and for speed Cache memory as much as possible. Processors with large cache are very expensive. O and you can consider HP too. compare to price it's performance is good.

my choice is dell.....there service is good.......
