Um...a cloth?
Thats what I do. Works fine for me :/

A special non-scratchy cloth if you want to be extra careful.
Like the sort of cloth you get with spectacles.

I use the underside of my sleave sometime with some spit and i have never damaged or scrached a screen.

Hi! Why not to buy special napkins for computer screens? They will remove dust and at the same time won't damage and scratch the screen.
I heard about using the windows cleaning liquid for this purpose. But I never used it by myself.

Hi,
What you do is leave the plastic on that come with it when you get it new. Then when it is so dirty that you can't see any more you take the plastic off.LOL the next time you can't see the screen. It's time to get a new computer. LOL
This is the same thought as when the ash tray is full buy a New Car.

You shouldn't use liquids, and you shouldn't use just any cloth. Try a microfiber cloth if you want to wipe it with a dry cloth. The other option is to use Dust-Off Monitor Wipes or some similar anti-static LCD screen wipes that come pre-moistened with the proper cleaning fluid.

I used soft cottan clothe or tissue paper to clean notebook screen
if you feel like you screen is sensitive you can follow these steps
first turn off you notepad/laptop but keep it open. in black screen you can see the dirt more. Use a dry soft cloth and wipe the screen. try microfiber type cloth like the eyeglasses cleaner. Don't rub it hard. If it doesn't clean that way use a glass cleaner to clean or mix water with white vineger in equal proportion then clean it.
1:Create a gentle cleaning solution. The ideal solution is plain distilled water. If more heavy cleaning is needed a 50/50 mix of white vinegar and distilled water can also be effective.
2:Put the solution in a small atomizer bottle, the type that you push from the top to get a fine mist. Don't use this to spray on the screen itself, however.
3:Apply a minimal amount of the solution to very soft cloth such as a cotton cloth (e.g. an old T-shirt), a lint-free microfiber cloth, a disposable cloth (such as a soft, non-woven compress or disposable wipe from the drugstore with no cleaning agents added) or similar. A large cloth (or several disposable wipes) is best, since it will help to reduce the risk of leaving streaks across the screen from finger pressure. Do not make the cloth wet, only moist. A wet cloth can drip or run when cleaning the screen and the solution can weep behind the bezel and permanently damage your screen!
4:Wipe the cloth against the screen in a circular, or other consistent motion. Rapid circular movements generally eliminate streaks. Apply a gentle and even pressure to the cloth. Use only enough pressure to keep the cloth in contact with the screen. Take care not to press your fingers into the cloth or screen. Applying too much force when cleaning the screen can permanently damage the LCD matrix rendering your screen unusable.
I use very soft cloth such as a cotton cloth. Can you try....

cotton is by far the best material for the job.
I often clean it with a cleaner, kind of like washing-up liquid.
i do it with some worm water and also adding some cleaning glass detergent in it
well i guess you know best since you use this method !
I just clean my my computer screen with useless cloth.

Micro-fibre cloths can be purchased separately and used with isopropyl alcohol 91%, and/or distilled water. Whether using the complete kit or the cloths alone, make sure the packaging designates the product is ”safe for laptops and LCD screens.”
