    Default problem in opening drive from my computer!!!

    i have windows xp home edition (sp2)..........when i am trying to open any drive from "my computer" then the "search" window opens !!!
    the first option on right click is "search".......though i m able to access the disk by right click and then clicking on "open".

    i have tried antiviruses......their is no virus.

    PLS HELP

    Try to check msconfig.

    Its definitely virus problem, it'll corrupt your system registry file used to accessing files, nowadays virus are very great and they can't be identified by Antivirus Software. Try updating your Antivirus definition files and try scanning.

    If you don't already have antivirus, download one and scan your system. Do Not use those fake scanner offered by websites that ask you to click a link to scan your site.

    this problem can be solved by using system restore if still not solve them window should be repaired instead of installing.
