Thread: WIndows XP or Windows Vistas?

Well I will go for a WIndows XP operating system no doubt about it.Dont know much about the vistas and really there are many disadvantages of vistas?so which OS you will prefer?

I choose XP if I had option between XP and Vista. BTW Why don't you try win 7. it looks like vista but has speed like XP. You can get them both in win 7

I prefer XP as well because I had Vista and when I had it I constantly had some troubles with the computer.

I still use XP on my desktop and I'm perfectly happy with it.

I use windows 7 on my desktop and xp on my laptop. I've been meaning to put win7 on my laptop though, it's much better...

I prefer XP over Vista. As soon as Microsoft added a lot of updates and patches to make XP stable, they decided to release Vista which showed all of the old problems XP had. I still use XP but would like to get another computer with 7 installed.

XP is anytime better than vista

Vista eats memory, that is the main disadvantage in it. That have been reduced in windows7. But I do prefer XP over Vista.

I vote goes to window XP because i have been using since last many years.

Use XP on my desktop where I do most of my work and my laptop runs vista.

Still using XP but i will give 7 a bash on my next machine.

Like others said Now its Time for Windows 7.

I'll choose XP because Vista is more complicated and XP is very friendly user..

I agree with you that XP is a user friendly.i think it really there are vast difference between XP and Vista.

All my friends are saying, Windows 7 is very good. So, I want to try it and currently using XP in my PC and i haven't used Vista.

No doubt I go for the Windows XP operating system rather than using Vista which is tend to be slow and always hangs up. XP is more fast and reliable operating system compare to Vista.

Just got windows 7 myself..so far so good

Never had any problem with Vista Ultimate on Dual Core. I use my comp for website and multimedia content development.

With windows 7 all os above may retire on pension.

I have not tried Vista,i'm satisfied with my XP.

Xp is my choice of fail.
Vista is just pathetic. Win7 (or Windows version 6) is Windows Vista after they removed the glitches.

I prefer windows xp. I have a windows vista on my laptop. There is always a compatibility problem when i have to install a new software on my laptop.

I prefer xp bcoz vista is slower than xp
